RN Practice Consultant, Clinical Quality (Southern California) – PS15383VMJ

Location: Remote – Southern California, travel 3-4 days per week with overnight stay within the Southern State of CA

The RN Practice Consultant if responsible for creating a partnership relationship with providers and other initiatives to achieve this fully integrated and accountable system of care.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to :

  • Assesses current practice patterns, assets and challenges utilizing available EPHC and non EPHC quality data.

  • In partnership with the PCP and the local provider solutions team, evaluates results of the initial assessment.

  • Establishes a project plan with the practice that establishes goals and objectives for HEDIS and CAHPS improvement.

  • Provides ongoing practice support and sustains the partnership.

  • Establishes regular meetings to track progress.

  • Support provider outreach to review health plan quality measures and to implement quality outreaches for provider groups.

  • 5 years of managed care experience;

  • 2 years of clinical experience;

  • 2 years of professional presentations to small and large audiences; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Medical office operations experience

  • LEAN/Process Improvement experience, preferred

  • This position requires local travel 3-4 days a week. Experience with HEDIS and CAHPS focused quality improvement, and provider experience strongly preferred

  • Current, unrestricted RN license

  • BSN or MSN preferred.
