Pharmacist Lead *Locations preferred: St. Louis, MO; Las Vegas, NV; Winston-Salem, NC; Mason, OH; Midland, GA; Atlanta, GA and Miami, FL. *This not a permanent work at home position and individual will be required to transition back into the office when notified.

The Pharmacist Lead is responsible for overseeing daily business operations through mentoring pharmacists and providing leadership to clinical associates to maximize facility production in compliance with applicable regulations and promote cost effective drug use.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinates daily scheduling issues and standards of practice for clinical and non-clinical associates

  • Provides work direction, training and development of associate

  • Acts as a liaison and interacts with other functional areas to lead development of technical process updates

  • Chairs project teams

  • Leads the creation and filling of staffing models, based on business needs

  • Creates and runs reports in Excel

  • Assists with Quality Audits

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 to 5 years’ experience working in a CPCC (Clinical Pharmacy Care Center); or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background required

  • Current valid unrestricted state license to practice pharmacy as an RPh required

  • PharmD preferred

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred

  • Experience working in Clinical Pharmacy Care Center

  • Experience working within Specialty Pharmacy Programs

  • Experience with Reporting for Specialty Programs

  • Quality Audit experience preferred

  • Proficiency in MS Office products strongly preferred.

  • This opportunity is for rotating shifts between the hours of 8:30am - 8:30pm. May require response during non-standard hours. Weekend rotations are required.
