NC Medicaid Business Change Manager

Location: North Carolina preferred, will consider other East Coast locations

Responsible for working with management to identify and implement varied projects, programs and plans that support achievement of business unit and enterprise goals.

Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:

  • Identifies potential issues, project charge, and scope. Leads efforts to identify best practices.

  • Identifies impacted parties, business partners, and resources required.

  • Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs.

  • Designs methods for integrating function and process.

  • Conducts cost/benefit analyses. Builds support for business change throughout the business unit.

  • Executive level reporting and presentation development.

  • Coordinate and manage cross-functional meetings, projects and tasks.

  • Liaison to enterprise and shared services business partners.

  • Tracks and monitors issues and risk in conjunction with health plan leadership.

  • Assists and co-lead health plan management and oversight/monitoring process and leadership meetings.

  • As led by the Medicaid Alliance Director, drives the building of health plan reporting to meet Executive level and Alliance customer needs/requirements.

  • Assists in tracking and highlight state and internal performance metrics and ensure health plan and enterprise business owners validate data for accuracy purposes.

  • in coordination with Compliance and Medicaid Alliance Director, tracks and help drive successful remediation. of issues and risks impacting the health plan and/or relative to the Alliance relationship.

  • Attends health plan meetings in conjunction with and/or in lieu of Medicaid Alliance Director, as needed.

Qualifications

Additional Experience:

  • Knowledge of Alliances with BCBS preferred

  • Medicaid experience required

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent time management skills

  • MS office proficiency

  • SharePoint proficiency

Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field; 5-8 years of process or project related experience that includes experience in successfully developing and managing projects with fairly significant operating budget and knowledge of process redesign; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Occasional travel to Raleigh/Durham/ Cary, NC.
