This leadership role is responsible for leading a team that supports the Medicare Business Sales focusing on Medicare sales operations (initiative/project management),
sales oversight, and selling tools, technology and platforms (online store, CRM solution, member and broker portals).
Responsible for leading sales operations & technology for the Medicare business and for ensuring utilization to deliver sales results through selected distribution partners.
Matrixed accountability for supporting sales with other areas of operations (e.g., training, enrollment, member services, finance, agent services)
Provides direction, leadership and day-to-day oversight to a functional team to ensure sales technology, enablement, quality performance, effective management and continuous improvement of work processes.
Go to market/AEP readiness. Works with sales leadership team to create and execute sales support strategies and tactics for internal and external audiences
Serves as a liaison between Sales Team and Medicare Compliance Team (represents sales with CMS)
Evaluate potential service partners and vendors; negotiate agreements as needed, analyze and create financial incentive or performance plans
H ires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

A minimum of 7-10 years of sales, service or operations management experience required; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Excellent analytical abilities and strong PC skills required.
Effective communication skills (written, oral and presentation);
Managerial, leadership and project management experience required.
Demonstrated success in improving processes.
Medicare experience preferred (Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D, and Medicare Supplement plans)
