Location: Work @ Home - reside two hours from an Anthem office. (Kentucky strongly preferred)
Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm EST
Given Anthem’s scale, balance sheet, broad national reach and depth at the local market level, Anthem has established a new business unit called the Diversified Business Group. The Diversified Business Group is a solutions-oriented business unit within the Company that will support Anthem and other external clients in the pursuit of transforming healthcare.
This position is responsible for translating basic business needs into application software requirements.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: • Analyzes business needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs. • Determines specific business application software requirements to address specific business needs. • Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing. • Acts as liaison with users of the software to address questions/issues.

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field required from a four year accredited college (Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, etc.). Master’s degree a plus
3 years related business analysis Healthcare experience, or any combination of education and healthcare experience, which would provide an equivalent background
Experience with SQL and Microsoft Access preferred Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations is strongly preferred.
