Manager II Medicare Quality Management – Plan
Location: New York, NY; Wallingford, CT; Iselin, NJ
Open to other locations for the most qualified applicant; must reside within a commutable distance to an Anthem office in our East Region
The Manager II Medicare Quality Management – Plan is responsible for developing and ensuring effective coordination of quality initiatives within the health plan, to include indicators for monitoring and evaluating the quality of care, service, and satisfaction of providers and members.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Establishes Quality Management objectives and annual goals, to include key performance indicators for telephone and in person contact.
Leads a team of member facing (telephonic and in person) associates to improve quality of care and services.
Coordinates development, implementation, and evaluation of quality improvement and member satisfaction action plans.
Provides oversight and ensures implementation of the Healthcare Effectiveness Data Information Set (HEDIS) data management and reporting strategy; coordinates the related improvement action plans.
Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Requires a BA/BS in a health or business related field; 7 years of experience in a healthcare environment, including prior management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Medicare experience required.
HEDIS experience required.
MSN, MPH, or MPA preferred.
Current clinical license preferred.
