INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST III, SR – Job Family

Information Security Analyst III Responsible for providing enterprise security solutions for business, regulatory, and legal requirements, and assuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: - Coordinates and prepares reporting of data security events and incidents - Provides technical support to business and technology associates - Designs and analyzes vendor services and information security requirements - Maintains relationship with key vendors - Participates and completes lights-on initiatives to consolidate equipment and/or implement business relocations - Performs complex configuration changes to meet business and information security requirements - Performs capacity analysis - Recommends and implements capacity increases - Responds to Level 3 and 4 change and problem requests - leads Level 1 and 2 incident recoveries and root cause analysis - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advocate and innovate strategic programming - Assists department analysts with data gathering for audit reviews and formal engagements - Ensures work intake documents are updated timely for assessments and formal engagements - Responsible for serving as point of contact, coordinating and collaborating primarily with delegated subsidiaries and stakeholders to ensure alignment with policies, regulatory, accrediting requirements. - Promotes and maintains favorable working partnerships and relationships with delegated subsidiaries and stakeholders and internal customers to improve delivery and quality of information security services - Coordinates annual and ad hoc internal assessments - Develops corrective action plans and analyses of required program reports and internal performance measures. - Delivers timely and constructive coaching and feedback. - Ensures that subsidiaries are made aware of all policies and procedures changes as they impact the subsidiary environment - Establish and accountable for progress of remediation plans, gap analysis and milestone dates. - Ensures stability and compliance with audit and regulatory requirements/mandates. - Performs interviews and asks questions to gather evidence necessary to perform reviews and audits. - Documents and tracks results. - Resolves conflict and escalates issues to area management as needed. - Researches complex business and technical processes. - Assesses risk of IT systems, operational processes, and financial processes. - Responds to requests of internal and external auditors - Documents business processes dependent on information technology. - Produces engagement planning, tests planning, documents findings, and defines appropriate remediation - Delivers presentations to subsidiaries, stakeholders, and management - Provides status and reporting metrics - Responds to management inquiries - Creates tools to gather and retain information with ease to support assessments

Information Security Analyst Sr Responsible for managing the delivery of information and network security systems and/or technology services, which may include server, desktop, software, network, database, helpdesk components.

Qualifications

Information Security Analyst III

Minimum Qualifications: - Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a support and operations or design and engineering role; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Preferred Qualifications: - Technical security certifications (e.g. Systems Security Certified Practitioner) strongly preferred. - Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) certifications are strongly preferred.

Information Security Analyst Sr

Minimum Qualifications: - Requires a minimum of 3 years experience in a support & operations or design & engineering role in any of the following areas: access management or network security technologies, servers, networks, Network communications, telecommunications, operating systems, middleware, disaster recovery, collaboration technologies, hardware/software support or other infrastructure services role; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. - Requires experience providing top-tier support for 3 or more of the information security technology areas: 1. Access Control 2. Application Security 3. Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning 4. Cryptography 5. Information Security and Risk Management 6. Legal, Regulations 7. Compliance and Investigations 8. Operations Security 9. Physical (Environmental) Security 10. Security Architecture and Design 11. Telecommunications and Network Security. Preferred Qualifications: - BA/BS degree in Information System and Computer Science or related field of study strongly preferred. - Technical security certifications (e.g. Systems Security Certified Practitioner) strongly preferred. - Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) certifications are strongly preferred.
