Location: Remote (within 40 miles of an Anthem office location preferred)
Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:30 p.m. 11 p.m. EST, plus every 4th Saturday 11 a.m - 7:30 p..m. EST with an alternate weekday off when working Saturdays.

The knowledge and information our health educators provide to our members positively impacts healthy life choices, provides a sense of well-being, helps prevent chronic and/or preventable conditions, and helps them to access the numerous resources available to them.
As we add Health Educator staff for our call center's Health and Wellness telephonic Coaching Programs, we look for individuals who share in our beliefs. If you are enthusiastic about helping others live healthier lives and a rewarding career, this unique opportunity is just for you!
As a Health Educator within a call center environment, you'll be focused on:
Making enrollment calls to members who are eligible for telephonic wellness programs.
Assessing health information for members with various coaching needs that may include chronic conditions, lifestyle management, weight management, and smoking cessation.
Setting up goals and providing coaching as well as telephonic follow up calls to members to continue to work on health goals.
Encourage members to get connected to resources that are available to them through their insurance, which could include participation in additional or different coaching programs.
Here are just a few ways in which your clinical knowledge and expertise may be utilized:
Utilize motivational interviewing skills to provide health coaching for members with chronic conditions or other identified health needs.
Implementing and/or coordinating coaching care plans and discussing clinical health recommendations and preventative recommendations.
Assist with increasing participant's motivational level by addressing barriers and assessing needs.
BA/BS in appropriate field of specialization (health educator, public health, nutrition, exercise physiology, RT, SW, or other related field);
2 years of medical health coaching related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Medical Health coaching with adult population is strongly preferred.
PC skills within a windows environment are required.
Prior call center or telephonic health education/clinical coaching experience a plus.
CHES certification an added plus.
Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.
