Chief of Staff (Omnichannel Marketing)
The Chief of Staff, Omnichannel Marketing is a highly visible role responsible for working with VP Omnichannel Marketing to identify and implement varied projects, programs and plans that support achievement of business unit and enterprise goals. The Chief of Staff acts as a connector for the organization and operates as a strategic consultant for the Vice President and their leadership team. This individual will help drive a high-performance culture and be a direct extension of the VP in numerous engagements.
Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:
Works closely with Omnichannel and marketing leaders to facilitate execution of key projects and initiatives.
Provides strategic, analytical and management support and keeps leadership abreast of noteworthy events, milestones, and issues out of their responsibility.
Provides support and expertise in process planning and portfolio management activities.
Ensures the timely communication and flow of information among leadership and associates by supporting Annual Planning, Town Halls, Budget Management, and strategic planning.
Maintains lists of Executive Team priority action items, and monitors progress on actions.
Oversees and executives other significant “strategic administrative” responsibilities and wears multiple “hats” at any given time and ensures nothing falls through the cracks.
Serves as a trusted thought partner to the Omnichannel Leadership team helping to connect disparate efforts and address challenges within the organization by identifying potential issues,
May specialize in one area of organization effectiveness (planning, project portfolio, or culture/change) or be assigned to directly support a business unit and ensures activities are aligned with corporate strategy.
Provides support and oversight to major initiatives in support of our operating plan, including:
Organizing teams and identify marketing best practices.
Identifying enterprise impacted parties, business partners, and resources required
Developing and designing processes and systems that support business needs.
Designing methods for integrating functions and processes.
Building support for business change throughout the business unit.
Providing expertise to the business areas in culture/change management activities.
High degree of emotional intelligence
Strong Executive Presence
Extreme attention to detail
Minimum Requirements
Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 10 years managing mid to large-scale change/project initiatives; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Ability to travel local and overnight as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to support independent decision making and accountability, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent oral, written, presentation and communication skills, and ability to meet in person as needed.
Experience organizing and creating presentations ranging from executive presentations to all-hand meetings
Experience working closely and influencing senior executives (VPs, SVP, CxO), and setting expectations on organizational goals.
Marketing, Sales or Account Management experience preferred.
