Anthem, Inc. Underwriting Analyst II in Mason, Ohio


SHIFT: Day Job

SCHEDULE: Full-time


Responsible for compiling data and performing moderately complex rating calculations.

Makes some independent decisions but requires general supervision and training in advanced underwriting functions.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepares renewal rate calculations for moderately complex cases.

  • Prepares financial settlements and ERISA reports.

  • Calculates rate increments and decrements for benefit alternatives and stop loss premium rates.



  • Requires a BA/BS in a related field; 2 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • CPCU, CLU, LOMA, HIAA or other insurance related courses preferred.
