Work Location: Must be located in Southern OH.

This role is responsible for developing & coordinating programs and strategies designed to increase awareness and the health of the assigned Client Group employees, thereby reducing overall health care costs. Works directly with employees as a Health Advocate, to improve their experience, knowledge, and overall health outcomes. There is a specific focus with those employees that have chronic conditions, to make sure they are on target with their overall medical and pharmacy care.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to

  • Manages the development, approval, implementation, and compliance of on-going external client facing wellness strategies/programs; develops program budget; ensures program meets its stated objectives; provides subject matter expertise in response to day-to-day business issues.

  • Interfaces with employees to educate on specific conditions, programs, and overall awareness of lifestyle health choices.

  • Research applicable subject matter practices and remains aware of health & wellness industry trends.

  • Manages relationships and partners with corporate and regional business areas; coordinates training related to the external client facing programs; develops success measures and performs periodic assessments of external client facing program success.


  • Requires a BA/BS in a related field; 3-5 years of experience in external client facing program management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Graduate degree, professional designation related to field or project management experience preferred.

  • Clinical experiences is preferred
