LOCATION: Mason, Ohio.
Anthem supports a hybrid workplace model with pulse point sites used for collaboration, community, and connection. Position is currently remote until our return to office is implemented, which at that point, position will be part of our hybrid workplace model.
HOURS: Monday-Friday, general business hours
The Manager I Claims is responsible for providing oversight for claims staff.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Establishes departmental policies and procedures.
Provides quality control services by monitoring work results of direct reports.
Performs audits to monitor efficiency and compliance with policies.
Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates the performance of direct reports.
BA/BS; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
1 year in a leadership role in addition to 2 years of related experience.
Highly Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding and knowledge of CMS and BCBSA regulations.
Experience with Claims/Service management; including Interplan processing.
Inventory management experience.
Experience with GBD Facets.
You must be competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
