Pharmacist Clinical/Specialty Programs - Remote (PS40430)

Summary: Responsibilities involve ownership around strategy, design, development and maintenance of drug lists in accordance with company policies and industry best practice. Responsible for ideation and build and oversight of specialty initiatives on the Medical and Pharmacy platform.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Determinations and maintenance of specialty drug lists

  • Ideation, development and deployment of large scale clinical initiatives for multiple lines of business.

  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, workflow related to specialty drug coverage

  • Must be able to research and synthesize detailed clinical data related to pharmaceuticals.

  • Must be able to manage program implementations, including regulatory requirements.

  • Other areas of responsibilities include specialty benefit design strategies, managing business plans for clients, strengthening the specialty value proposition and presenting to internal and external clients as requested specific populations.

  • Maintain clinical relationship with pharmacy vendors.

Qualifications

  • Requires a registered pharmacist; minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience including knowledge of specialty pharmacy - medical, pharmacy; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Current unrestricted state license to practice pharmacy as a RPH, required.

  • Health Plan or PBM experience required.

  • Experience with pharmacy data and analytics preferred.

  • Experience with medical claims and medical data preferred.

  • Strong presentation skills preferred.
