The Manager, Research Biostatistics will provide statistical leadership and advanced analytic expertise to lead and support HealthCore’s scientific portfolio of research. The Manager, Research Biostatistics will manage a team of associates to deliver on individual and organization goals that support the growth and success of HealthCore. In addition, the Manager, Research Biostatistics will support the development of Data Analytics thought leadership that promotes novel or differentiating analytic methods and tools to advance evidence development.
How you will make an Impact;
Manages all aspects of the research execution lifecycle, including proposal and protocol development, statistical analysis plan development, data management, data analysis, and reporting and publication, as well as direct communication with clients.
Serves as an analytic and research environment subject-matter expert and clearly articulates analytic methodology, process, progress, and results to internal and external stakeholders.
Assists with hiring, orientation, training, mentoring, and management of associates to understand and execute analytic expectations, as well as evaluates associate performance.
Plans, organizes, coordinates, and reviews activities of biostatisticians and statistical programmers working on assigned projects.
Responsible for ensuring all processes and procedures within Data Analytics are completed according to standards and guidelines.
Supports the identification of analytic methods and tools to deliver insight, recommendations, and solutions.
Requires a PhD and a minimum of 5 years of postdoctoral research experience with increasing responsibility or MS/MA with a minimum of 9 years of experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred skills, qualifications and experience:
Direct management experience.
Expertise in analytic methods and statistical tools (e.g., SAS, R).
Experience using healthcare claims and clinical research data.
Solid understanding and application of innovative and advanced statistical methodologies, including casual inference techniques.

Annual Salary Range*: $106,960 - $133,700
Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
