Locations - Delaware, Virginia, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, New Jersey, Texas, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois
Responsible for directing and overseeing the activities of the Clinical Research Project Management team.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Implement and maintain department standards and best practices (SOPs, templates for PM work, etc.)
Convene department meetings to discuss best practices, provide updates and conduct trainin
Meet regularly with project leadership and Staff Vice President of Clinical Research to plan department resourcing and the appropriate staffing of projects
Develop Project Management Plan and oversee completion of project tasks and deliverables; escalate to Project Leadership as needed
Develop project budget, including quarterly budget forecasting, approve time and project expenses, and monitor budget.
Meet with sponsor and investigators to discuss project status or risks.
Troubleshoot issues and determine resolution.
Finalize clinical trial documents and reports, perform final edits; oversee completion of site management/monitoring plan and provide guidance to site management team regarding site activation, regulatory document collection and monitoring.
Requires a BS and 12+ years clinical research experience or MS/MPH with 10+ years clinical research experience; 8+ years experience managing clinical research projects, including real-world or late phase studies preferably in a life sciences (biopharmaceutical) company or contract research organization; 4+ years supervisory experience or contract research organization or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Must have high level of working knowledge of GCP, ICH and FDA regulations. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or certification as Certified Clinical Data Manager (CCDM) or Certified Clinical Research Associate (CRA) preferred.
