Engineer Lead

Location: Remote

The primary purpose of this role is to facilitate seamless integrations with our platform and its capabilities. This role serves as the front-facing representative of our engineering org and is responsible for the technical onboarding of both internal and external partners to our platform. After onboarding, technical support engineers provide ongoing assistance to our developer partners, troubleshooting issues and escalating to our own developer teams when needed. A firm understanding of software development lifecycle as well as troubleshooting client needs is therefore required.

In addition to technical onboarding and support, this role is also responsible for creating and maintaining written documentation. Such documentation includes overviews, guides, and tutorials for use by a variety of audience types.

Finally, this role facilitates cross-functional communication, bridging the gap between product and engineering teams while serving as champion for our developer partners. Ideal candidates would therefore be comfortable working directly with business and engineering teams.

Primary duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating the technical onboarding of partners to our platform.

  • Creating technical documentation for use by external developers and by internal teams.

  • Coordinating closely with engineering teams to provide product feedback from onboarding sessions.

  • Creating and testing sample apps.

  • Reviewing proposed future product capabilities and assessing technical feasibility.

Experience in these software suites and platforms will help ensure your success:

  • Python

  • TypeScript

  • React Application

  • Agile Project management tools like JIRA

  • Version control, code management and review process (e.g., Gitlab, Github)

  • Atlassian Confluence

Additional, preferred experience:

  • FHIR Standard

  • Healthcare Interoperability Systems

  • Zero Trust / Federation

  • Content Management Systems

Skills, Education and Experience Requirements for this position include:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Developed understanding of audience and context

  • Attention to detail

  • BA or BS in a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years’ related experience

  • Portfolio of work available for review

Annual Salary Range*: $115,6800 - $144,600 (Min – MRP)

Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
