Location: Remote based in Colorado
The Pharmacist Program Manager is responsible for serving as the primary contact for a specific pharmacy program which may be assigned by geographic location, business unit, or functional area.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Manages both internal and external stakeholder communications for assigned area.
Acts as a support resource for the state Health plans regarding efforts to improve the performance of the pharmacy benefit.
Provides expertise and guidance regarding drug utilization, spend and trend.
Provides ongoing support to Anthem affiliated health plans regarding pharmacy programs and performance goals.
Shares insights with matrix partners during the creation and roll out of new pharmacy programs
Requires a registered pharmacist and minimum of 2 years of managed care pharmacy experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Current state license to practice pharmacy as a RPH required.
May require up to 20% travel
Knowledge of current health care and managed care pharmacy practices strongly preferred.
Professional designation preferred.

Annual Salary Range*: $111,920 - $139,900
Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
