Strategy & Program Development Director, Medicare Risk Adjustment

Responsible for coordinating the relationship of the Group Retiree Solutions business unit with Enterprise Medicare Risk Adjustment team to ensure accurate and complete medical coding and compliance.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: - Monitors related legislation and advises senior management relative to compliance. - Researches new ventures and prospective revenue expansion opportunities. - Assists in creating company's strategic and annual plans.

Work location: Any Anthem state; may consider other locations for most qualified applicant.


Minimum qualifications: Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of related Medicare Advantage Risk Adjustment experience including 5 years of leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred qualifications: - Knowledge and experience in the products and services of the respective industry strongly preferred. - Experience working in the managed care / healthcare insurance industry strongly preferred. - MBA preferred. - Ability to travel may be required.
