Elevance Health's Diversified Business and Ingenio-Rx (DB&I) Advanced Analytics and Services team is hiring a Product Management Senior Director. This Leader will be focused on creating a common approach for authoring, editing, and publishing business rules for the purposes of member, provider, and user identification, engagement, and next best action. In addition, s/he will be responsible for ensuring next best actions are integrated with downstream solutions to drive outcomes. This position is responsible for forming, evangelizing, and implementing the vision, managing a portfolio, and ensuring the solution is expansive to serve multiple markets, eases the addition of rules, is configurable, and integrates across DB&I’s core assets.

Further, the Product Management Senior Director will be responsible for working collaboratively with a cross-functional team to align with business priorities, establish consistent voice of the customers feedback loops, manage existing solutions, and deliver new solutions to the market at scale. This position will also lead the evaluation of duplicate solutions, provide go forward recommendations, and drive the execution of a plan to remove duplicate solutions.

Primary duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Working closely with business and technology leaders to align investment decisions to short- and long-term business performance goals – including innovation vectors for formal exploration.

  • Facilitating strategic project identification, selection, prioritization planning, execution, and monitoring to accelerate business results.

  • Maintaining awareness of industry trends, best-practices, and evolving technologies to introduce innovation, delight end users, and ensure cost-effective solutioning.

  • Standardizing lifecycle phases of the solution and centralizing end to end governance – including portfolio management, aligned program increments and associated ceremonies, and solution launches.

  • Developing and maintaining multi-year product roadmaps across products and segments.

  • Evaluating vendor partners to address solution gaps and optimizing content, operational, and technical integration with the selected partner(s).

  • Working closely with delivery team leads to identify and mitigate risks and to remove barriers related to the execution of initiatives.

  • Delivering a solution which drives business value in a timely manner.


  • Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 7 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Highly preferred skills and experience:

  • 7-10 years of experience in product strategy methodology, design, use of market research to inform strategy, and the delivery of new solutions to internal and external customers at scale or any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background.

  • Experience with bringing business rules engine solutions to the market required.

  • Highly advanced strategic management and organization skills.

  • Ability to lead and collaborate with colleagues across a range of experience and technical expertise required.

  • Solid understanding of existing and emerging vendor solutions which have been implemented to drive business results.

  • Strong communication, executive presence, and business acumen experience.

  • Ability to drive human resource development in the area of product management.

  • Extraordinary ability to influence behavior.

  • Excellent facilitation and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to travel.

  • MBA or MHA preferred
