Salesforce Software Product Architect I
Accountable for the quality of the software product by promoting a software product focus mindset. Responsible for strategic planning capabilities (approaches and processes, tools, deliverables) and drive the building/enhancement of software products of medium complexity or breadth.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Organize the demand, prioritize delivery with the business, bundle demand requests, maintain the roadmap, identify dependencies across portfolios, and help in budgetary guidance and capacity planning.
Support in the creation and refreshing of software product inventories.
Support the definition of software roadmap by identifying target applications, features (functional/ non-functional), investments, timeline and migration plans.
Partner with integration architects to identify key areas of inter-dependencies and synergies within and across software products on the roadmap.
Develop technical SW Product documentation.
Develop and communicate standards, configurations, product technical solutions and roadmaps.
Continue to influence investment prioritization by providing input to integration leaders.
Develop business cases for new technologies, and lead Technology and vendor R&D, evaluation, testing & selection for the assigned software product(s). Integrate the applications to business critical value chain and map to product set.
Provide support in the creation of catalogs of allowed configuration changes to products & methodology for implementing and assist in establishing the governance process and councils for product configuration changes.
Develop custom solutions and interfaces on the Salesforce Lightning platform using Apex, VisualForce, Lightning Components, and the Salesforce APIs.
Evaluate out-of-the-box options or design patterns that require minimal customization
Drive the creation of application and technical design documents which leverage Salesforce best practices
Oversee third party vendor design, build, & testing adheres to strategy & standards
Requires Bachelor's degree in related field; 10 years of IT experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background; 7 years’ experience in architectural design with background in software development; 3 years of experience in health care industry preferred
